Tahini dressing

    This creamy tahini salad dressing is easy to make and endlessly versatile. You can use it to dress a simple green salad, or use it as a sauce in your favourite wrap or to serve with falafel. Yoghurt gives it a creamier texture, which I love.

    Serves: 6 

    • 3 tablespoons plain yoghurt
    • 2 tablespoons tahini
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    • salt to taste

    1. Mix together all ingredients until smooth and well incorporated. Begin stirring in warm water, about a tablespoon at a time, to achieve a drizzling consistency. Taste and add more salt or lemon juice, if desired.


    To make a vegan tahini dressing, you can use a vegan plant-based yoghurt instead of regular yogurt.
    Using warm water instead of cold or room temperature water ensures the dressing is easier to stir and doesn't solidify.
