    This easy, chocolate mug cake is ready in a few minutes and perfect if you're dying for something sweet.

    • 4 tablespoons plain flour
    • 4 tablespoons caster sugar
    • 3 tablespoons milk
    • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
    • 1/2 tablespoon olive oil
    • 1 pinch baking powder
    • 1 tablespoon dark chocolate chips
    • 1 tablespoon flaked almonds

    1. Combine flour, sugar, milk, cocoa powder, olive oil and baking powder in a large mug and mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and almonds.
    2. Place mug in the microwave and cook until cake has risen by 50 percent, 30 seconds to 2 minutes.

    I have made this recipe three times, and it makes enough for two people. I took another reviewer’s recommendation and used coconut oil instead of olive oil.     I honestly LOVED this recipe! it is such an easy way to make a cake! Whoever made this up is a genius!
