Spagetti n Churizo

    Cheap and Cheerful meal. To me its a smile on a busy day when you've got time for something quick to cook but need to chill while eating. The me comfort time. just cook enough to fill the gap to allow you to relax. Its a big hit with mum. In fact she has tried cooking and prefers me to cook it as she says it doesn't taste as mine, Which is a huge big thumbs up.

    Ingredients

    • 70 - 80g spagetti (Actually any pasta type will do, I use spagetti but whatever you prefer) Per person
    • 30 - 40g per person. A few chunky pieces of cooking Chorizo
    • an onion
    • olive oil
    • salt
    • Cheese - for topping

    Method

    1. Put pasta in boiling Salt water and cook for as log as it says on the packet
    2. While pasta is cooking, slice chorizo into chunks
    3. chop onion roughly. Doesn't have to be to small, Chunky will do
    4. put some olive oil in the bottom of a pan and cook onion and chorizo to soften. be carful not to burn (cook on medium low.) once almost cook add some salt (A pinch or 2)
    5. once pasta is cooked, add to cooked chorizo and onion in the pan and mix while on a low heat then plate up. Sprinkle grated cheese on top

    Tip

    use measurement as a guideline. Add extra on a hungry day.!!! :-) The measurements I use are roughly how much I would have for meal without feeling full and sluggish
