Ginger and oat biscuits

    My first published recipe and it's a bit of a healthy option and tasty.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 100g butter
    • 25g sugar
    • 60ml honey
    • 130g oats
    • 130g plain flour
    • 2 teaspoons ground ginger

    Method
    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Preheat the oven to 170 C / Gas 3-4.
    2. Slowly melt the butter, sugar and honey in a small saucepan.
    3. Mix the other ingredients in a bowl.
    4. Combine the two together in the bowl.
    5. Shape the biscuits by hand to 5cm circles and put on a greased baking tray.
    6. Bake until lightly browned, about 20 minutes.
