Banana blueberry pancakes

    I'm Harriet, I'm 8 and this is my recipe for delicious banana and blueberry pancakes. They are also gluten and dairy free. The amounts are for one person but you can just multiply everything for more people.

    Serves: 1 

    • 40g oats
    • 1 pinch baking powder
    • 1 pinch salt
    • 1 banana
    • 1 egg
    • 7 blueberries (optional)

    1. Put oats, baking powder and salt in a blender and blend.
    2. Add banana and egg then blend again.
    3. Set the hob at 7 and heat a non stick pan. Slowly pour the batter into the pan in a pancake shape then add blueberries (optional).
    4. When small bubbles start appearing in the pancake slightly shake the pan to detach the pancake. Put a spatula under the pancake, the bottom side should be golden/brown. Flip the pancake.
    5. Cook the other side for about 2 to 3 further minutes.
    6. Serve with maple syrup and enjoy.
