Super sautéed mushrooms

    Sauteed mushrooms with a hint of wine and teriyaki sauce are the perfect topper for steak and baked potatoes.

    Serves: 4 

    • 3 tablespoons olive oil
    • 50g butter
    • 450g button mushrooms, sliced
    • 1 clove garlic, thinly sliced
    • 1 tablespoon red wine
    • 1 tablespoon teriyaki sauce, or more to taste
    • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt, or to taste
    • freshly ground black pepper to taste

    1. Heat olive oil and butter in a large saucepan over medium heat. Cook and stir mushrooms, garlic, wine, teriyaki sauce, garlic salt and black pepper in the hot oil and butter until mushrooms are lightly browned, about 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low and simmer until mushrooms are tender, 5 to 8 more minutes.
