    1. Combine cherries and ginger slices in a glass bowl. Sprinkle with sugar and cover with 500ml of the filtered water. Cover bowl and chill in the fridge for 2 hours to overnight.
    2. Bring 500ml filtered water almost to the boil; pour over tea bags in a carafe or pitcher. Steep tea for 90 seconds. Squeeze tea bags and discard.
    3. Strain cherry-ginger water into carafe with green tea, squeezing out excess liquid. Reserve cherries and ginger for another use, or use to garnish each glass of iced tea.
    4. Serve iced tea chilled with lemon slices and lemon juice, if desired.

Good taste! Cherries make a cute garnish, but you need plenty of ice cubes in the glass for them to rest on because they tend to sink!  -  20 Jul 2013  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

Omg, is this ever good! I will make this again and again and again! I added a drop of vanilla extract, also.  -  30 Mar 2013  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)

Good! Next time try changing sliced oranges in the place of lemon!  -  03 Nov 2013  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
