Prunes wrapped in bacon

    A quick starter for guests. Best to use a roasting pan with rack so the fat can drip off.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 16 dried pitted prunes
    • 16 slides paper thin bacon

    Method
    Prep:5min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Preheat your oven to 170 C / Gas 3-4. Use a roasting pan with rack, or line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
    2. Wrap each prune in a slice of bacon and place on the roasting pan.
    3. Bake till the bacon is browned and crispy, about 15 to 20 minutes.
