About this recipe:
This recipe reminds me of my childhood. On many a Sunday, my Mum would serve this dessert, to compliment our roast dinner.
1 jam filled Swiss roll
298g tin mardarins in juice
whipped cream, optional
Extra time:1hr chilling ›
- Cut Swiss roll into 8 slices. Arrange 4 slices on bottom of serving dish.
- Strain mandarins, reserving juice. Pour half of the juice over the Swiss roll, then top with half of the mandarins.
- Pour over half of the custard.
- Repeat these steps again. Chill in fridge for best results. Before serving, top with whipped cream (optional).
