    Ingredients
    Serves: 4

    • 1 (115g) sachet raspberry or strawberry jelly
    • 250ml boiling water
    • 250ml vodka
    • 1 (750ml) bottle champagne

    Method
    Prep:2min  ›  Cook:2hr  ›  Ready in:2hr2min

    1. In a medium bowl, stir together the jelly mix and boiling water until completely dissolved, about 2 minutes. Stir in vodka. Pour the liquid into small paper cups. Chill until set, at least 2 hours.
    2. Pour champagne into glasses. Break up the gelatin with a fork, and pour into a glass of champagne. A little stir gives it some 'lava' action. Drink with caution, these will sneak up on you.

These are alot of fun. The key to keeping it look like a lava lamp is to break the jello shot up really well with a fork. I put it in the flute first, mashed it, then added the champagne, beautiful. Thanks!  -  10 May 2008  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
