5 peaches - peeled, stoned and sliced
140g icing sugar
450ml dry white wine

Place the peaches in a bowl. In a separate bowl, stir together the sugar and wine until the sugar is thoroughly dissolved. Pour over the peaches, cover and chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour, or up to 10 hours before serving.
