Garlic, mushroom and sage pasta

    Sage, garlic and mushrooms compliment each other perfectly and make a delicious combination for a vegan pasta dish.

    • 250g whole wheat spaghetti
    • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, or as needed
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 to 2 tablespoon freshly chopped sage
    • 225g freshly sliced ​​mushrooms
    • salt to taste

    1. Cook the spaghetti in boiling, salted water according to the instructions on the packet; drain.
    2. Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sage; stir until fragrant, about 1 or 2 minutes. Stir in mushrooms and cook until golden brown; season to taste with salt. Stir in cooked pasta and toss well to combine, adding more olive oil if needed. Serve hot.
