250g whole wheat spaghetti
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, or as needed
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 to 2 tablespoon freshly chopped sage
225g freshly sliced mushrooms
salt to taste

Cook the spaghetti in boiling, salted water according to the instructions on the packet; drain.
Heat olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Add garlic and sage; stir until fragrant, about 1 or 2 minutes. Stir in mushrooms and cook until golden brown; season to taste with salt. Stir in cooked pasta and toss well to combine, adding more olive oil if needed. Serve hot.
