A deliciously easy cheese fondue to make! Cheese fondue is a wonderful starter to share with friends or family. Serve with cubes of bread and some veggies like broccoli florets and carrot sticks.

1 garlic clove, cloved
400g Gruyère cheese, sliced or cubed
300g Emmental cheese, sliced or cubed
300ml dry white wine
1 tablespoon plain flour
1 tablespoon lemon juice
4 tablespoons brandy
salt and nutmeg, to taste

Slice garlic clove in half; rub flat side of garlic clove over the base and sides of a fondue pot to flavour.
Add wine, Gruyère and Emmental cheese, flour and lemon juice to the pot; stir continuously over low heat until cheese has melted and mixture is smooth, then simmer for 5 minutes over high heat.
Stir in brandy; season with salt and nutmeg. Place the fondue pot on a burner and serve!
