Orange cranberry bread

Orange juice instead of water gives this yeast bread its distinct flavour. You can use the bread machine to knead and bake the bread or bake the bread in the oven if you like.

- 250ml orange juice with bits
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 375g plain flour
- 120g dried cranberries
- 2 teaspoons dried active yeast

- Add all ingredients except the cranberries to your bread machine. Select the basic bread setting for a 1.5lb. loaf and medium coloured crust and follow machine instructions.
- Just before the final kneading, when the sound appears, add the cranberries.
Tip
You can also bake the bread in the oven. After the dough has been mixed, place it in a greased loaf tin and bake in the preheated oven at 175 C / Gas 3-4 for 30 minutes.
