    About this recipe: Fiery ginger combines with icy vodka, and is then topped with champagne for good measure. Use good quality champagne for best results.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 1 

    • 3 strips pickled ginger
    • ice cubes
    • 2 tablespoons vodka
    • 120ml (4 fl oz) champagne

    Method

    1. Place the ginger strips into a shaker and press to release the flavour. Add the ice cubes and vodka; shake and strain into a champagne glass. Top with champagne to serve.
