Stir together garlic, ginger and soy sauce; set aside for five minutes to allow the flavours to blend. Cut the avocado in half and discard the stone; divide the sauce between the avocado halves. Eat with a spoon!

We really enjoyed this. The first time I made it, we found the garlic to be a bit strong. The next time, I cut back on the garlic and added half a teaspoon of sesame oil. Delicious!
I think this would be nice as a dip with tortilla chips - just mash everything together! - 09 Feb 2009
