Garlic, herb and anchovy butter

    This flavoured butter made by blending garlic, parsley, tarragon, anchovies and lemon together tastes incredible mixed through warm pasta or served on top of a steak.

    Serves: 4 

    • 120g butter, at room temperature
    • 2 cloves of garlic, peeled
    • 6 to 8 anchovies in oil, drained
    • 2 sprigs of fresh parsley
    • 1 sprig of fresh tarragon
    • salt and pepper, to taste
    • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice

    1. Place butter, garlic, anchovies, parsley, tarragon and lemon juice in a food processor; blend until smooth. Season to taste with salt, pepper and more lemon juice, if needed.
    2. Roll the butter in a square piece of cling film and twist edges to seal; store in the fridge until serving.
