Aggie's Yorkshire puddings

This is my no-fail Yorkshire pudding recipe. I believe the secret to successful Yorkie's is down to resting and cooking in a hot tray or ramekins.

Ingredients
Serves: 4
- 150g plain flour
- 225ml milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon oil, for greasing

- Preheat oven to 200 C / Gas 6.
- Whisk flour, milk, eggs and salt together in a large jug until smooth; set batter aside to rest for 10 minutes.
- Whisk batter again and let it rest for another 10 minutes. Lightly grease 4 ramekins with oil and place in preheated oven so they remain hot.
- Pour the mixture into preheated ramekins, about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until puffed up and risen above the rim. Serve immediately.
