Cinnamon rice with hot plums

    Add a can of plums and a pinch of cinnamon to canned rice pudding for a nutritious twist on an old-time favourite.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 4 

    • 2 x 425g cans rice pudding
    • 425g can halved plums in syrup
    • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

    Method

    1. Heat the contents of 2 x 425g cans rice pudding. Empty a 425g can halved plums in syrup into a separate pan and heat, adding 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon to the plums. Divide the rice among four bowls and top with the plums. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon, if you like. Serve at once.
