About this recipe: You only need 4 ingredients to make this quick, delicious midweek meal: Pasta, pesto, smoked salmon and grated Parmesan.

Serves: 4 

  • 350g tagliatelle
  • 4 tbsp good-quality pesto
  • 200g flaked hot-smoked salmon
  • grated Parmesan cheese or grana padano

Prep:5min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:15min 

  1. Cook 350g tagliatelle in a pan of salted boiling water for 8 minutes, or according to the pack instructions, until tender with a bite at the centre. Drain, reserving 100ml (half a teacup) of the cooking liquid.
  2. Mix the reserved cooking water with 4 tbsp good-quality pesto and toss with the pasta. Top with 200g flaked hot-smoked salmon, season with ground black pepper and serve with grated Parmesan cheese or grana padano.
