In a blender, purée 100g ready-to-eat pitted prunes with 200ml orange juice and 6 tbsp port until smooth. Serve cold, or warm the sauce briefly in a small pan or in a suitable jug in the microwave. Serve the sauce with vanilla, coffee or chocolate ice cream.
