    • 6 wooden sticks
    • 4 (100g) packets original toffee, such as Walkers

    Prep:8min  ›  Cook:2min  ›  Extra time:15min  ›  Ready in:25min

    1. Remove the stem from each apple and press a stick into the top. Butter a baking tray.
    2. Place toffee and milk in a microwave safe bowl, and microwave 2 minutes, stirring once. Allow to cool briefly.
    3. Roll each apple quickly in toffee until well coated. Place on prepared sheet to set. For best results, refrigerate for 15 minutes before serving.

These were such a treat. The kids loved them, and I appreciated how easy it was to make. I've made toffee apples with golden syrup before, but this was much easier. And using the microwave means easier washing up!  -  02 Oct 2008
