Put the mince and a small amount of oil in a frying pan. Once the meat has started to cook (ie changes colour) put in the onion, peppers and mushrooms. If you want to be healthyish put in water instead of extra oil to stop it sticking to the pan. Keep stirring until meat is cooked; and onions don't look raw.
Tip the beans into a saucepan, add the contents of the frying pan. Follow instructions on tin for cooking beans (ie bring to boil and make sure they're fully heated.) Add pepper and curry powder to taste, then stir.
Have had this jotted in my recipe file since 2009 and I love it! Make different changes to it depending on what I have in the cupboard and how much time I have! I like to use chilli bake beans sometimes or add some fried peppers etc. Great recipe, children love it - 22 Apr 2014
