Simple quesadillas

    8 min

Just three ingredients to make an ideal after-school snack, or serve with soup for a light supper. Kids can easily assemble the quick quesadillas but should get an adult's help popping them under the grill.

    Serves: 2

    • 4 flour tortillas
    • 125ml shop-bought salsa
    • 75g grated Cheddar cheese

    Prep:2min  ›  Cook:6min  ›  Ready in:8min

    1. Place two tortillas on a greased baking tray. Top each with salsa, cheese and remaining tortillas. Grill 10cm from the heat for 3 minutes on each side or until golden brown. Cut into wedges.

fantastic even easy for the kids to either help making or make themselves apart from cooking/grilling them  -  10 Feb 2009

I wanted to use up 2 tortillas that were left over. I'm not that keen on salsa but had some in so gave it a try for my lunch. It was delicious! My little girl loved it too. Would be lovely with chicken for a more substantial meal and say served with rice. I will never throw any wraps away again! Thank you.  -  27 Jun 2014

Altered ingredient amounts. before making the wraps up a put butter in them to hold it together better and grilled them instead of oven baking but same great kids can't wait to have them again  -  10 Feb 2009
