I halved the ingedients to make a smaller batch - although I think it would have frozen well and kept for another week.
My tweak was to then take half the finished mix and add a few drops of red food coloring. I rolled the white out and then rolled the pink and placed them ontop of eachother and rolled into a sausage. After leaving it in the freezer for a while I sliced them and cooked them - they looked LOVELY. Perfect for a girly party! Will post pics next time I make them - 18 Feb 2011
This recipe is easy and the cookies are delicate and delicious. The only change I made was to substitute cake flour for plain.
Although I decorated them all, they definitely do not need frosting. - 28 Jan 2012
