My 11 year old son has started trying out cooking in the Easter holidays. This is the first 'mains' recipe and its fab! Everyone loved it and debated carefully at the end of the meal how to divvy up the 'seconds'. He loved making it and it was simple enough for an inexperienced child chef to make successfully! Agree re the butter. Also, as the chicken was very cold the butter solidified. Will try with olive oil and melted butter mix next time - 01 Apr 2010

Made it healthier. it is possible to use half the amount of butter by putting all the chicken chunks at the same time in the melted butter. THat way each takes less butter. Just a reminder to myself: a breast fillet is half a whole breast! - 27 Jan 2010
