Easy Peasy Apple Crumble
Serves: 4 - 6
- 1kg apples, roughly chopped
- 200g caster sugar
- 125g plain flour
- 1 teaspoon mixed spice
- 80g butter, melted

- Cook apples in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally until soft and slightly mushy.
- Meanwhile, make the crumble. Combine the sugar, flour, spice and butter. Stir with a wooden spoon and set aside.
- Transfer apples to a baking dish. Top with crumble and bake at 180 C / Gas 4 for 40 minutes or until golden brown on top.
