I made this so the kids could have something special to drink on Christmas day. I realised that I'd forgotten to buy the ginger beer so used lemonade with a pinch of ground ginger instead and they loved it. I made it again, but could only get hold of fiery ginger beer. This made it taste too strongly of ginger so I topped it up with extra mineral water. It was nice and not too sweet so good for adults too.  -  30 Dec 2010

A very nice alternative to the classic non-alcoholic drinks that are available. My pregant sister has now told everyone in her baby class about it!  -  14 Sep 2011

I used this recipe at my wedding and it turned out great! We tried a few different variations in smaller quantities to give it a little more flavor that everyone would enjoy(adding pineapple juice, using raspberry water, and adding almond extract which was a close second) but we ended up using strawberry carbonated water instead of plain and turned out perfect, not too sweet and just right.  -  15 Jan 2008  (Review from Allrecipes US | Canada)
