    About this recipe: This is simple to make and won't break the bank. A big hit with my children. Serve with homemade wedges.

    Serves: 4 

    • 8 pork sausages (or sausage of your choice)
    • 1 teaspoon olive oil
    • 2 tins mixed beans
    • 1 tin chopped tomatoes
    • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
    • sprinkle of dried basil

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:30min  ›  Extra time:5min  ›  Ready in:45min 

    1. Fry or grill the sausages in olive oil until nearly cooked through and no longer pink in the centre, then drain off any excess grease.
    2. Put mixed beans, chopped tomatoes and garlic into a frying pan. Add the cooked sausages and basil. Simmer for about 20 minutes or until sausages are thoroughly cooked.
