Guilty Pleasure Scrambled Eggs

    Moreish scrambled eggs with a bite for one. Eat with strong coffee.

    Serves: 2 

    • 45g (1 1/2 oz) of real butter
    • 60 (2 oz) of grated cheddar
    • 3 large eggs
    • 1 clove of garlic
    • 1 small onion
    • 1 toasted and buttered bagel

    Prep:4min  ›  Cook:15min  ›  Extra time:1min  ›  Ready in:20min 

    1. Melt 30g / 1 oz of butter in a pan. When almost melted add in the grated cheese and let melt slowly.
    2. In a frying pan melt the remaining butter, add in chopped garlic and onion and let cook until soft and slightly blackened.
    3. In a bowl whisk the eggs with a fork then add into pan with melted cheese (add chopped chives, optional). Stir constantly.
    4. When eggs have set but are creamy take off the heat and stir in the garlic and onions.
    5. Pour onto buttered bagel and enjoy. (Additional ingredients to add with onions can be: cherry tomatoes & fried potatoes.)
