Perfect golden rice crispy cakes
- 3oz rice cripsies or corn flakes (90g)
- 4 Tbsp Golden syrup (80g)
- 1 Tbsp sugar (15g)
- 1 Tbsp margarine (15g)
Prep:10min › Cook:10min › Ready in:20min
- Put 24 cake cases in 2 tins. Melt the margarine over a low heat in a saucepan. Add the golden syrup. Add the sugar. Remove from the heat. Add in the rice crispies or corn flakes.
- Divide equally in the 24 cases. Leave in fridge to set.
I made this recipe today but the crispie cakes didn't stick together...... not sure where I went wrong but I will try again as they tasted delicious!! - 23 Nov 2011
