Perfect golden rice crispy cakes

About this recipe: These are delicious and simple to make rice crispy cakes. quick and simple to make these are an ideal snack in general or for parties. Ideal for school bake/cake sales. you can also corn flakes. Warm the tablespoon over a flame or dip in boiling water so the golden syrup slips off easily, repeat between each spoonful.

Ingredients
Serves: 24 

  • 3oz rice cripsies or corn flakes (90g)
  • 4 Tbsp Golden syrup (80g)
  • 1 Tbsp sugar (15g)
  • 1 Tbsp margarine (15g)

Method
Prep:10min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:20min 

  1. Put 24 cake cases in 2 tins. Melt the margarine over a low heat in a saucepan. Add the golden syrup. Add the sugar. Remove from the heat. Add in the rice crispies or corn flakes.
  2. Divide equally in the 24 cases. Leave in fridge to set.
