About this recipe:This is my hearty "bowl of comfort" to eat while curled up in front of TV....and it's so easy to throw together! You could even add mushrooms, shallots or even spinach for a variation.
500g tortellini (beef filled, or other)
3 - 5 rashers of bacon, diced
150g frozen peas
250ml double cream
70g grated parmesan cheese
salt and cracked black pepper

Boil the tortellini in plenty of salted water according to packet directions and drain.
While the pasta is on the boil, fry the bacon in a small saucepan, add the peas and cream and simmer for about 5 minutes until the peas are cooked through.
Return the drained tortellini to the cooker in its saucepan and add the cream sauce. Stir through the parmesan cheese, salt and pepper.
