Delicious fish cakes made with cod, potatoes, onion, butter and parsley! You can substitute salmon for cod if you would rather make salmon cakes.
Try this recipe with inexpensive fresh coley or pouting. They both belong to the cod family but are much cheaper and available in larger supermarkets or fishmongers.

Very quick and easy to make, tasted good too. I did add salt and pepper though and used some flour to mold as it was a bit sticky, probably did not drain well enough. But was very happy with the finished result. Will definitely be using the recipe again. - 20 Jan 2015
