About this recipe: Use as an accompaniment to seared steak, a sauce for grilled vegetables or as a dip for raw vegetables.


Serves: 4 

  • 400g tin cannellini beans
  • 2 cloves crushed garlic
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp fresh grated parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste

  1. Drain and rinse beans. Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend till smooth. Refrigerate for 1 hour to intensify flavours.
