Bacon cheese frittata

    Serves: 6 

    • 6 eggs
    • 200ml milk
    • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
    • 1/2 teaspoon salt
    • Chopped callions or spring onions
    • 6 slices bacon, cooked and chopped
    • 115 g grated Cheddar cheese

    1. In a bowl, beat eggs, milk, butter, salt and pepper. Pour into a greased baking dish. Sprinkle with onions, bacon and cheese. Bake, uncovered, at 180 degrees C for 25-30 minutes or until a knife inserted near the centre comes out clean.

    Used different ingredients. I used garlic infused olive oil instead of butter which made it less greasy and gave a lovely extra taste. I removed the onions and added mushrooms instead.  -  21 Jul 2010
