Sausage casserole with mash and red wine

Well I fancied making a sausage casserole of my own and just threw a load of stuff together and the results were better than I thought - very tasty, filling and easy and quick to make. I'd recommend it to anyone whether you cook a lot or not or even if you aren't a good cook like me.

Ingredients
Serves: 4
- 1 jar of sausage casserole sauce, such as Homepride
- 8 sausages
- 1 handful of bean sprouts
- chopped chives, as much as u like
- small tin of baked beans
- 13cl of red wine (merlot if poss)
- 6 mushrooms, chopped
- pancetta
- tinned carrots
- tinned sweetcorn
- tinned petit pois peas
- instant mash
- chopped onion

- Cook sausages. When cooked put in the casserole dish.
- Fry pancetta and add to dish.
- Chop beansprouts add to frying pan with mushrooms and some of the chives, and the onions. When cooked add to dish.
- Add baked beans to dish along with the carrots, sweetcorn and peas.
- Pour over the sauce and mix in. Pour over red wine.
- Make the mash and mix with butter if you have it and spread mash on top of casserole. Put in oven for 35min at 190 C / Gas 5.
