About this recipe: A wonderful, yet simple and quick, party dip recipe. Perfect when you need nibbles to serve at the last minute. Serve with tortilla chips.


Serves: 24 

  • 2 avocados - peeled, stone removed and diced
  • 180g (6 oz) plain yoghurt or soured cream
  • 180g (6 oz) prepared salsa
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 dash ground black pepper

  1. In a medium bowl, mash the avocados with a fork or potato masher. Mix in the soured cream, salsa, cumin, garlic, salt and pepper. Chill at least 30 minutes before serving.
