Chicken and Pasta

    Something I created when i didnt have any pasta sauce!

    Serves: 4 

    • 4 chicken fillets (or as much as needed)
    • 1 green pepper
    • 1 red pepper
    • 1 onion
    • 1 tin chicken soup
    • 2 tbsp soy sauce
    • 400g pasta (or as much as needed)

    Prep:10min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Fry the chicken until almost fully cooked. Whilst chopping the vegetables into small chunks,
    2. start cooking the soup in a separate saucepan, wait until hot and then add the soy sauce, add more if needed for flavour.
    3. Start to cook the pasta.
    4. Add the vegetables and chicken to the pan and leave to stew for around 10 minutes, and then its ready to serve!!

    Altered ingredient amounts. Not only did I add the freshly ground black pepper as suggested in the previous tweak but I also added a bit of grated nutmeg and once i dished it up, I scattered some grated strong cheddar cheese over the top. absolutely melted in the mouth and went down well with my fussy 2 and 4 year old children as well as my friend and her 2 children of around the same age!!! x  -  22 Mar 2010


    Added garlic and mushrooms, used a low fat condensed chicken soup, did it with pasta and it was fabulous. I'm going to make it with rice next time and freeze individual meals. Really pleased with this recipe 😋  -  06 Sep 2013


    Felt it was a bit bland, so added garlic and more soy sauce. Was ok  -  29 Jul 2013
