Red's marsbies

    My kids love rice krispie cakes but I wanted to make somthing a bit special for the grown ups. Warning not for those on a diet!

    Serves: 20 

    • about 250g rice krispies (you may need more depending on texture)
    • pk of 8 snack size mars bars
    • 2 tbsp golden syrup
    • 4 tbsp of condensed milk
    • 30g butter
    • half pk broken up biscuits (ie what you like, or what you have, I used shortbread for mine)

    Prep:20min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. In a mixing bowl melt your mars bars and add butter, syrup and then add milk.
    2. Now add rice krispies and broken biscuits, mix up completely & put in a tray and stick in the fridge. Put up feet and have a cuppa. In ten mins slice up and enjoy - they won't last long!

    O.M.G. shouldn't have made i am now going to get fat. They are so moreish it is unbelieveable. Better than any i have tried, will definitly be checking out xredx's other recipes.  -  15 Sep 2009


    Used exactly what the recipe called for. There's far far far too much rice krispies for the measley chocolate mixture to cover. So disappointed! We are melting more chocolate to try and bind the mixture. I would say about 100g maximum of rice krispies. No idea how other users have managed with this much  -  26 Sep 2015
