    About this recipe: This accompanied my haggis at last year's Burns supper!

    Serves: 4 

    • potatoes, skinned and diced
    • swede (the traditional 'neep'), similar amount as potatoes
    • ground black pepper
    • butter
    • double cream

    Prep:20min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:40min 

    1. Boil the Potatoes and swede separately until soft, then mash them. Add butter and pepper to taste. Mix. Remove from heat and add some good double cream and mix again. They should be soft but not liquid. Do *not* re-heat after adding the cream!
