    About this recipe: This is something that was passed from my Mam and is very easy to make. Real comfort food.

    Serves: 2 

    • 3 chicken breasts, cut into bite sized pieces
    • 1 large onion, diced
    • 4 large potatoes, peeled and quartered
    • 4 carrots, sliced
    • 2 celery sticks, sliced
    • salt and pepper
    • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 packet of dried oxtail soup
    • 1 pint (600ml) of boiling water

    Prep:15min  ›  Cook:45min  ›  Ready in:1hr 

    1. Preheat oven to 200 C / 180 C fan / Gas 4.
    2. Brown chicken on both sides in an oiled frying pan.
    3. Make up soup with 1 pint of water.
    4. When soup is ready place all ingredients into an ovenproof dish (preferably a casserole dish). Bake for 45 mins in the preheated oven.
