    About this recipe: A very easy and quick to make tuna pate. Excellent with toast. You can use light soft cheese and light mayo if you prefer a lighter pate.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • 2 small tins of tuna
    • 300g soft cheese
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
    • chopped fresh dill, to taste
    • chopped fresh parsley, to taste

    Method
    Prep:5min  ›  Extra time:30min  ›  Ready in:35min 

    1. Drain and flake the tuna. Simply add everything to a bowl and stir together well.
    2. Put into a suitable tub (I use a Tupperware® container) and put in fridge for 1/2 an hour.
    3. Serve with toast or on crackers. Keeps very well in the fridge.

    Tips

    I buy the supermarkets own cheap soft cheese, you can use ones like Philadelphia® but the cheap stuff works just as well! I also have used lime juice when I didn't have any lemon juice, works well too! You can use as much dill and parsley as you choose. I like these herbs so add quite a lot.
