    About this recipe: Very yummy, it is literally apple pie, but upside-down!

    Ingredients
    Serves: 6 

    • puff pastry, cut to the size of your pan
    • 2 Braeburn apples
    • caster sugar, to cover the bottom of your pan
    • butter

    Method
    Prep:20min  ›  Cook:10min  ›  Ready in:30min 

    1. Put some butter in a pan about 2" thick.
    2. Spread enough sugar to cover the bottom of the pan about 1cm thick leave it to caramelise.
    3. Put the apples sliced into 6 pieces on the caramelised sugar.
    4. Add the puff pastry to cover the top of the pan and put in the oven for about ten minutes until golden brown; cook longer if not golden.
