Delicious & moist full of flavour and suprisingly easy to make. I didn't have the walnuts or cherries but it didn't matter. I put it in a round tin and made up some light buttercream, the family love it and I have added it to my favourites yum yum oh and it only took 45mins - 04 Dec 2010

I find most of the recipes on these sites use far too much sugar, so I halved the amount and used golden caster instead, and substituted coconut oil for the butter....used pecans, personal choice there......it only took 50 minutes, on 180 .....looks and smells delicious, too hot to cut at the moment! - 03 Feb 2018
