Delicious Homemade Beefburgers topped with Stilton

    Delicious homemade beefburgers topped with Stilton in a homemade bread roll (see my other recipe for these rolls).

    Serves: 2 

    • 300g Lean Steak Mince
    • Half an Onion, diced
    • 1tsp Cumin
    • 1tsp Dijon mustard
    • Stilton
    • 1tbsp Olive Oil

    Prep:20min  ›  Cook:20min  ›  Ready in:40min 

    1. Fry off your onions in the olive oil until they are clear, usually about 4/5 minutes. Leave to cool for about 5 minutes.
    2. In a bowl add your minced steak, cumin and dijon mustard. When the onions are cool, add these too. Mix well.
    3. Shape into burgers. Fry on a low/medium heat for around 20 minutes. When nearing the end of cooking, crumble some stilton on each burger then put under the grill until melted. Put this into your roll.


    To cool your onions down quickly, if its winter, leave them on the window ledge with the window open.
