    About this recipe: A basic smoothie that incorporates omega 3-rich flaxseed. A good source of fibre and a quick and low-calorie drink for breakfast or a mid morning energy boost, especially if you use frozen fruit.

    Ingredients
    Serves: 1 

    • 1/2 frozen banana, peeled and cut into chunks
    • 225g frozen strawberries
    • 2 tablespoons milled flaxseed
    • 235ml low-fat vanilla soya milk

    Method

    1. Place the banana, strawberries, milled flaxseed and soya milk into a blender. Puree until smooth. Serve.
