Indian Naan
Recipe by:
Lynda McCormick
Naan is traditionally made in a brick and clay tandoor oven. It does not brown like other breads. It should be baked only for 60 seconds or less. It will still be white although it may have a couple brown spots like a cooked flour tortilla. Naan should be served immediately after preparing.

Lou's tasty white loaf made in a breadmaker
This white loaf is made using normal white flour (not bread flour) so it's good if you run out of bread flour ..or just want to keep the cost down but you still want a tasty light loaf. I used the cheapest value range flour. My kids can't get enough of it and always ask for seconds ....good for packed lunches or toast. This will make a 1 1/2 lb loaf. I used a med crust colour and cooked it on the basic program ....

Alligator Bread
Recipe by:
SHOGIRL
This simple white bread is shaped like an alligator for loads of family fun. Great for children's parties. You can easily shape it into any animal you like, as this dough lends itself well to handling and doesn't rise uncontrollably and distort your animal's shape. Make the dough in your bread machine, then shape it, let it rise, brush it with egg wash and bake. To make other shapes, colouring book animals enlarged and placed underneath parchment make great guides!

No-Knead Bread
Recipe by:
anton
One of the easiest yeast bread recipes that requires no kneading. The secret is to bake it in a cast iron pot so that the bread gets a nice crust. You can vary the type of flour from rye, oats or whatever you like. I always use 2/3 white flour and 1/3 wholemeal flour.
Swiss Butter Bread for the Bread Machine
Recipe by:
laridae
This bread machine recipe is based on the classic recipe for Butterzopf, or Butter Bread, from Switzerland. Though not plaited like the original, it still tastes gorgeous with butter and jam. This recipe needs real butter - not margarine or a blend.
