I personally think these are the best brownies in the world. Try them, I think you'll agree! To make the brownies rich and buttery, use melted butter instead of the vegetable oil.

This scrumptious curried lamb dish is prepared with everyday ingredients – most you probably have to hand right now – yet you'll be surprised by its authentic flavour. We've used the leanest cut of lamb.

Long, slow cooking gives this traditional casserole its inimitable flavour. The cooking liquid is reduced simply by removing the casserole lid, resulting in a wonderfully aromatic sauce that glazes the meat and vegetables. Flambéing with brandy brings the cooking to a spectacular finale. Serve with boiled or mashed potatoes.

Good food does not have to be complicated or time-consuming. This simple, homely casserole is made without a lengthy shopping list of exotic fresh ingredients or hours of precise slicing and chopping. Raid the storecupboard and use everyday vegetables from the refrigerator for a warming and heart-healthy meal.

A rich, tasty beef casserole - perfect for a cold winter evening. Serve over rice, baked potatoes or simply with crusty bread to mop up all the delicious sauce.

This recipe originates from Spain. It's simple to prepare, rich and scrumptious. You may use black pepper instead of paprika if you prefer.

This is a basic truffle recipe to which you can add your own flavourings or extracts. Dust with cocoa powder or icing sugar, or roll in coconut or ground nuts.

Fast-grilled chicken breasts with a sweet sauce make a great dish for cooks in a hurry. Try serving with roasted tomatoes and crusty bread.
