Baby BLTs

These little nibbles feature cherry tomatoes stuffed with a cool mixture of mayo, bacon and spring onion. They look great arranged on a platter of rocket.
Champagne Jellies
For adults only! These are really quite refreshing to end a meal. Use any sparkling wine or champagne to suit your budget, they will still be fun to make.
Quick Party Jug
Great to knock up quickly at party and doesn't feel alcholic
Teresa's apple pie "moonshine"
This is a wonderful recipe I found online and started tinkering with, made a change here and there to get the finished product. I've made it for several parties, and it's always a hit. It makes about 2 1/2 gallons so is wonderful to gift once the weather gets chilly! You can drink it hot or cold, but, watch out - it's pretty strong!
Delicious goats cheese and sundried tomato tarts
I made these tarts as we had similar ones as a starter at our wedding and everyone loved the combination of flavours. I have added onions in my recipe although they could be done without. Serve hot with rocket and a large glass of dry white wine. They can be reheated easily.
Treacle rings
Qaghaq ta’ l-Ghasel or treacle rings as they’re called in English, are by far Malta’s favourite traditional Christmas dessert. Although not excessively difficult to make, they take quite a lot of patience and time to prepare. You can buy these delicious pastries all year round from confectionaries, but they are mostly consumed during the Christmas season.
EAT ME cupcakes
This is a sponge cupcake with pink icing on top. It is wonderful and yummy, and this makes 18 cupcakes!
Turkish delight vodka
Amazing, Turkish delight flavoured, pink coloured vodka. Takes 2 weeks to make but so-o-o-o worth it!
Boozy Smooth Ice Cream

SARAHEMM
An incredibly easy way to round off a dinner party - but only if they aren't driving! I like to serve two small scoops in tiny dishes with shortbread, biscotti or amaretti. You can vary this any way you like - try Cointreau or Drambuie (my favourite), or add a few drops of real vanilla extract or some of the vanilla seeds.
Mock Champagne

Great for serving to children or designated drivers at Christmas time, New Year's Eve or parties.
Christmas Pie
A nice way to deal with leftovers. And it has vegetables and cooking apples in it, so you can call it healthy.
Real traditional Scottish tablet
This recipe is originally my mother's, however I've taken my own twist with it, increasing the sugar and adding vanilla - removing the butter to create a perfect tablet every time that's easy for anyone to create. Family and friends and strangers from around the world have tried it themselves and sent me feedback stating that it's turned out perfect and tastes delicious. It melts in your mouth and is bursting with sweetness; the slight hint of vanilla is an added bonus that leaves for a great aftertaste.
Ginger Champagne Cocktail

Fiery ginger combines with icy vodka, and is then topped with champagne for good measure. Use good quality champagne for best results.

SALLYCOOKS
Ready-made vol-au-vent cases make this classy canape easy. Stuffed with garlic butter and escargots, then topped with mushroom caps, they're sure to be a crowd pleaser.
Cheesecake heaven
This is a truly gorgeous tasting cheesecake. The texture is so light and creamy, it's shockingly good. I have just included the basic cheesecake recipe - it's up to you which topping you choose. We usually have it with some fruit coulis or cherry topping.
