This version of the delicious, creamy Middle Eastern dip uses yoghurt and is delightful with raw vegetables or toasted pitta triangles. It is much lower in fat than classic houmous.

Marrow is a type of squash or courgette which I prefer to cook as I cook other squashes like courgette or butternut squash.

This is a great Greek/Turkish aubergine dish flavoured with cinnamon. Delicious on its own or with rice or couscous.

Flavoursome spoonfuls of yoghurt, tomato and toasted cumin seeds make a tasty partner for slices of smoky aubergine grilled with very little fat.

Found this recipe when I was detoxing and now it's a regular on my dinner menus. This cassrole is packed with vitamins, minerals and long term energy. If not on a detox, serve with warm crusty bread. Enjoy!
